Reconditioned Bosch CRI injectors for the 2.5 CRDi (A2/D4CB) land at R3,500 to R5,500 each aftermarket — and you replace as a set of 4, so budget R14,000 to R22,000 for the set. New OEM-spec injectors are significantly more, easily double. Plus ECU coding at fitment (workshop job, not included in our parts price). We always recommend a leak-back test first before condemning all 4 — sometimes only 1 or 2 are actually faulty.

For a high-mileage fleet or taxi-spec H1 already past 200,000km, properly reconditioned Bosch injectors from a reputable SA recon house are the realistic choice — R3,500-R5,500 each vs new at roughly double, and they come with a warranty (typically 6-12 months / fixed-km). For a low-mileage owner-driver H1 still under 150,000km that you plan to keep long-term, new OEM-spec is worth the premium. Recon quality varies hugely between suppliers though — we only quote brands we have track record with.

Hyundai's book interval is 15,000km but on shuttle, taxi or panel-van duty in SA conditions we recommend halving that — full oil and filter every 7,500km with quality diesel-spec oil, fuel filter every 15,000km (the 2.5 CRDi is brutal on fuel filters and a clogged filter is a fast track to injector damage), air filter every 20,000-30,000km depending on dust exposure, and coolant flush every 60,000km. Glow plugs as a set every 80,000-100,000km. EGR clean every major service rather than waiting for limp mode.

No — we are a parts supplier, not a workshop. We can refer you to independent diesel specialists in Johannesburg who know the 2.5 CRDi well (injector coding and EGR work in particular needs a workshop with the right scan tool), but we do not do fitment ourselves. We supply parts only, with VAT invoice, and ship countrywide.

Yes — we ship nationwide via insured courier. Smaller parts (injectors, sensors, glow plugs, water pumps, hydraulic cylinders) go overnight to most metros. Bulky items like leaf springs, body panels and DPF assemblies take 2-4 working days depending on destination. Courier cost is quoted on the invoice.
