Toyota Hilux Parts (2.4 GD-6, 2.8 GD-6, 2.7 VVT-i, 3.0 D-4D)
From filters and brakes to engine, suspension and electrical components, we supply quality aftermarket parts for all Hilux models. SA's #1 bakkie — we know the GD-6 injector job, the EGR swirl flap delete, the clutch master/slave, and the lower arm bushes by heart. Real ZAR pricing, OEM and OE-supplier alongside Aisin / Denso aftermarket.
Keep your Urban Cruiser running smoothly with parts for engine, brakes, suspension and more. The K15B 1.5 is shared with the Suzuki Vitara Brezza / Baleno — meaning broad SA aftermarket coverage and very honest prices on routine service items.
Toyota Quantum Parts (2TR-FE 2.7 Petrol & 2KD-FTV 2.5 Diesel)
SA's taxi backbone is hard on parts — and we stock the wear items that taxi fleets actually replace: 2KD injectors, clutch master/slave cylinders, rear leaf spring sets, sliding-door rollers, brake drums and shoes. Fleet pricing across multiple VINs available on request.
Toyota Corolla Quest Parts (1.6 & 1.8 with Aisin CVT)
The Uber / e-hailing daily-driver of choice. We supply the brake pads, AC compressors, water pumps and the Aisin K313/K310 CVT service kit + WS fluid that keeps the CVT alive past 200,000 km. OEM where it matters, aftermarket where it doesn't.
Toyota Fortuner Parts (2.4 GD-6, 2.8 GD-6, 3.0 D-4D, 4.0 V6)
Premium parts for Fortuner models. Shares the IMV platform and most drivetrain with Hilux — so the GD-6 injector, EGR, swirl flap and clutch jobs all carry over. We quote engine, drivetrain, suspension and body panels for accident repair.
Toyota has the deepest aftermarket of any brand in SA, so most parts come in noticeably cheaper than the equivalent European marque. As a guide for the most-quoted items: a Hilux GD-6 fuel filter is around R280-R450 aftermarket and R650-R850 OEM (Toyota Genuine), a Quantum 2KD diesel injector lands at R3,800-R5,500 aftermarket and R7,800-R9,500 reconditioned Denso OE-supplier, Corolla Quest front brake pad sets sit at R380-R650 aftermarket against R950-R1,200 OEM, an Urban Cruiser K15B water pump runs R850-R1,400 aftermarket and around R2,400 OEM, and a Fortuner 2.8 GD-6 EGR valve is R3,200-R4,800 aftermarket versus R7,500+ genuine. Send your VIN and we'll quote OEM, OE-supplier and aftermarket side-by-side in ZAR before you commit.
Do you supply OEM, OE-supplier and aftermarket Toyota parts?
All three. For most Toyotas we can source genuine Toyota OEM parts, OE-supplier brands (Aisin for gearboxes, clutches and water pumps; Denso for injectors, alternators, starters and AC compressors; Bosch for filters, ignition and sensors; NGK for plugs and coils; KYB and Tokico for shocks) and budget aftermarket equivalents. OE-supplier is usually the sweet spot — the same factory makes the original Toyota-boxed part — and runs 30-45% below OEM list. For GD-6 injectors, CVT internals and 2KD common-rail components that's our default recommendation. For ECUs and immobiliser modules we'll usually flag OEM or known-good used as the safer choice.
How long does delivery take for Toyota parts in JHB?
Toyota parts move fast in Johannesburg because the volume is there. Stocked items inside JHB usually go same-day or next-day via courier. OE-supplier parts (Aisin, Denso, Bosch) pulled from a second JHB supplier typically land within 1-3 working days. Less common items — Land Cruiser 79-series specific components, early Etios body trim, or a particular Hiace transfer-case part — can stretch to 5-10 working days while we work the SA network. We'll give you an honest ETA on the quote rather than a placeholder.
What's the reality on Hilux GD-6 injector replacement?
The 2.4 GD-6 and 2.8 GD-6 (Hilux, Fortuner, Innova) have a well-documented injector tip and EGR carbon-build-up problem, especially on short-trip city use. Typical symptoms are rough idle, white smoke on cold start, power loss and the dreaded P0087 / P2002 / injector-circuit codes. A single Denso injector runs R6,500-R8,500 OE-supplier reconditioned or R9,800-R12,500 genuine new — most jobs need all four. Add a full EGR clean or swirl flap delete kit (R1,800-R3,200 aftermarket) at the same time and you avoid coming back twice. Total parts-only on a 4-injector + EGR job typically sits R28,000-R45,000 depending on whether you go reconditioned Denso or new genuine. We supply parts only and you choose your fitter.
What service intervals work for a Quantum running as a minibus taxi?
The 2.7L 2TR petrol Quantum and the 2.5L 2KD diesel both punish their owners if you stick to the book interval of 10,000 km when the vehicle is running 600+ km a day. Most taxi operators we quote service at 5,000-7,000 km — oil and filter every cycle, fuel filter every second cycle, air filter inspected every cycle. Brake pads and discs get checked at 15,000 km because of the urban stop-start cycle. Common high-mileage items we quote on weekly: 2KD injectors, 2TR head gasket sets, rear leaf springs, propshaft centre bearings, front control arm bushes, clutch kits (Aisin OE-supplier preferred), wheel bearings and brake master cylinders. Operators running fleets — send the VINs and we'll standardise a quote across the lot.
Is Corolla Quest CVT shudder fixable, or is it a gearbox replacement?
The Aisin CVT (K313 / K310) in the Corolla Quest, Corolla and Auris develops a low-speed shudder on take-off, usually between 60,000 and 140,000 km. The first step is almost always a full CVT fluid flush with the correct Toyota WS or Aisin CVT spec fluid (around R650-R950 per litre, needs 6-8 litres) plus a software relearn — that fixes the majority of cases. If the shudder persists, the torque converter is the next suspect (R8,500-R14,000 reconditioned). Full gearbox replacement is the last resort and runs R32,000-R52,000 for a reconditioned Aisin unit. Don't let anyone fit non-Toyota-spec ATF in a CVT — it kills the belt. We supply the correct fluid and reconditioned units when needed, parts only.
